Welcome to our rural Homestay, conveniently situated between Tauranga and Rotorua. The Homestay boasts a real country tranquility, nestled close to an untouched piece of NZ bush, with abundant bird life. We have now formed a short bush walk for guests to enjoy. This is not a tourist type walk, but rather an eco friendly nature walk suitable for the more confident walkers! We are using the latest humane rodent control methods to encourage the native bird life. Your hosts, Simon and Renu, would love to spend time with you, and help organize any trips using their local knowledge. Maybe visiting a waterfall or head over to the famous Mount Maunganui Surf Beach! As past dairy farmers we have a deep love for this country, and will strive to make your visit memorable. A good place to unwind from a busy city life! Feel free to wander over our 8 acre lifestyle farm and gardens. Fully Eco-Friendly with solar hot water, solar power, and rainwater harvesting.

Top class, luxurious, private and very comfortable. Modern, clean and fairly spacious. Close to amenities in Western Tauranga. Beautiful drive on the old Rotorua Road with great view of forests and ravines. The approach to the dwelling is heart-warming and very inviting. They have a lovely dog with bundles of energy. Superbly presented accommodation. Breakfast was very good and taken in the company of our hosts and the other visitors. Very quiet. I would be pleased to stay again. The guest accommodation was in a separate area, but joined to the owner's home. There is two separate en-suite bedrooms with a communal lounge. All well maintained and comfortable

They engage in conversation freely or leave you to yourself if you want 'me time' SImon recommended a great beach and walks in the local area The rooms they rent out are comfortable and welcoming, the complimentary bottle of local Red was a nice touch.
